Binging with Babish Recipe 

Agilo e Oilo 

(Oil Pasta)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Head Garlic

  • 1/2 Cup of Parsley

  • 1/2 Cup of Olive Oil

  • 1 Teaspoon of Red Pepper Flakes

  • 1/2 Pack of Linguine Pasta (or Spaghetti Pasta)

  • 1/2 Lemon 

  • 1 Pinch of Salt

  • 1 Pinch of Pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a large Pot, heavily Salt water and bring to boil. Add the Pasta and cook it until slightly underdone.

  2. Slice the Garlic cloves thinly and set aside.

  3. In a large Frying Pan, heat the Olive Oil over medium heat until barely shimmering.

  4. Add the sliced Garlic and keep stirring constantly until it softened and turned golden on the edges.

  5. Add the Red Pepper Flakes and then lower the heat to medium low.

  6. Add the Pasta to the Pan and 1/4 cup of the Pasta Water. 

  7. Squeeze the Lemon and chop the Parsley finely.

  8. Add the Lemon Juice and Parsley into the Pasta and mix it until the Pasta absorb the liquid.

  9. Add the Salt and Pepper then server on a nice plate.
