(Spicy Rice Cake)

Mong’s Kitchen Recipe 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pack of Rice Cake 

  • 500 mL of Water 

  • 2 Fish Cake (Optional)

  • 1 Green Onion

  • 1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoon of Red Pepper Powder 

  • 3 Tablespoon of Corn Syrup (or honey)

  • 3 Tablespoon of Gochujang

  • 2 Tablespoon of Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Soak Rice Cakes in Water for few minutes.

  2. Cut the Fish Cake into slices (optional).

  3. Slice the Green Onion into small slices.

  4. Prepare a Pan and add the Water, Soy Sauce, Corn syrup, Red Pepper Powder, Sugar and Gochujang.

  5. Mix the ingredients well on medium heat. Once it starts boiling, add the Rice Cake and Fish Cake.

  6. Keep stirring we’ll so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the Pan.

  7. Once the Soup is reduced add the Green Onion and keep stirring for few more minutes.

  8. Once the Soup is thick, serve it in a nice Bowl.
